NCTC Clone 929 [L Cell, L-929, Derivative Of Strain L] Mouse Embryonic Fibroblast

     In March 1948, a clone of NCTC clone 929 (mouse connective tissue), a cell line L, was established. Cell line L is one of the earliest continuous culture cell lines established, and clone 929 is the earliest cloned strain. A parental cell line L was established from normal subcutaneous loose connective tissue of a 100 day old male C3H/An mouse into adipose tissue. Clone929 was established using capillary separation of single cells from the 95th generation cell line L. After identification without mycoplasma, it was put into storage.

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
