MCF-10A [MCF-10A] Human mammary epithelial cells

The sample was taken from a 36-year-old female. The immortalized human breast cell MCF 10A is a non-tumorigenic epithelial cell line. Epithelial sialic mucins, cytokeratins and milk fat globule antigen were positive. MCF 10A shows three-dimensional growth in collagen and forms a dome-shaped shape during fusion. So far, the cells show no signs of terminal differentiation or aging. The cell line responds to insulin, glucocorticoid, cholera enterotoxin and epidermal growth factor (EGF). Through electron microscope observation, the cells showed the characteristics of lumen duct cells, but did not show the characteristics of myoepithelial cells. The calcium content in the culture medium has a great influence on the morphology of cells.

Complete medium: complete medium for mammary epithelial cells (product No. P1501).

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Digestion precautions:

0.1% soybean trypsin inhibitor must be used to stop digestion, and the formula is:

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)
