NCM460 Human Colon Epithelial Cells

The NCM460 cell line, derived from normal people and from a 68-year-old Hispanic male colonic mucosal epithelial cell, has been proved useful in a variety of intestinal research fields, including infectious diseases, cell signaling, cytokine production, vitamin transport, gene regulation, protein expression and phosphorylation pathway in multiple growth regulation. NCM460 cells express colon epithelial cell-related antigens, such as cytokeratin and villin, but are negative for antigens related to other cell types, such as nerve cells or endothelial cells.

Morphology: epithelial-like, adherent growth

Culture media and additives/Complete Growth Medium and Culture Conditions:

90% MEM (MD0300)+10% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+G/A (SD0038)

Complete medium: MEM complete medium (article number: MD0301)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
