MDCK (NBL-2) Dog Kidney Cells

In September 1958, S.H. Madin and N.B. Darby isolated MDCK cell lines from the kidneys of a normal looking adult female British beagle. Keratin immunoperoxidase staining was positive. MDCK was used for research β- Treatment of porridge protein precursors and their protein hydrolysates.

Culture media and additives/Complete Growth Medium and Culture Conditions:

90% DMEM high glucose (MD0100)+10% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+G/A (SD0038)

Complete medium: DMEM high sugar complete medium (article number: MD0101)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
