Super Tube Dog Kidney Cells

The cell line MDCK (ATCC CCL-34) was established from adult female cocker dogs with normal appearance, and the dog epithelioid cell line Super Tube was cloned from it. When maintaining a high cell concentration, the Super tube forms a large number of small tubes (it is reported that 7x105 cells are laid on each hole of the 24-hole plate, which can form small tubes within 3 days). To form tubules, cells need to change fluid twice a day to provide sufficient nutrients. Compared with the original cell line, the detection level of c-AMP in Super Tube is much lower, and the level of adenosine cyclase read under the stimulation of forskolin is also lower; Its transepithelial resistance is also lower than that of Super Dome (ATCC CRL-2286) and MDCK. It was put into storage after identification without mycoplasma.
