LLC-Luc mouse lung cancer cells

This cell line was established in the lung of C57BL mice, and may be the same cell line as 3LL cells. The tumor of this mouse originated from the implantation of primary Lewis lung cancer. The cells were resistant to 1,3-bis (2-chloroethyl) - 1-nitrosourea, but sensitive to methotrexate. It is reported that these cells have high tumorigenicity in mice, but their metastasis is weak. The cells form multiple layers in the flask without real fusion. The test showed that the mouse pox virus was negative. Labeled with firefly luciferase, it is widely used in small animal imaging experiments.
