AA8 Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells

AA8 cells are derived from CHO cells, which contain 21 chromosomes and are heterozygous at the adenine phosphoribosyltransferase (APRT) site. This cell is often used for gene mutation detection and is the parent cell of a series of repair deletion mutant cell lines (such as UV5, UV20, UV41, and DNA repair mutant EM9). It was put into storage after identification without mycoplasma.
