SW 982 [SW-982, SW982] Human Synovial Sarcoma Cells

1974 A Leibovitz established the SW 982 cell line from the surgical section of fibrosarcoma of a 25-year-old white woman from the Scott and White Clinic, Temple, Texas. Pathological evaluation showed that it was an undifferentiated malignant tumor consistent with liposarcoma. Note: This case is caused by patients with bipolar synovial sarcoma, but does not include the typical SST-SSX1/SSX2 displacement of synovial sarcoma.
