MSTO-211H Human Lung Cancer Cell Line

The MSTO-211H cell line was established in 1985 from the pleural fluid of a patient with pulmonary biphasic mesothelioma. This patient has received multiple drugs combined with early chemotherapy. MSTO-211H cells have high affinity EGF binding sites and express neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) α And β Subunit. No levodopa decarboxylase (DDC), Bambacin and neurotensin were detected. The cells overexpressed c-myc proto-oncogene, and no gene rearrangement or amplification was observed. The expression of V-src, v-abl, v-erbB, c-raf1, Ha-ras, Ki-ras, and N-ras was positive. N-myc, L-myc, c-myb were not detected.

Morphology: Fibroblast-like, adherent growth

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.
