DMS153 Human Small Cell Lung Cancer Cells

The DMS153 cell line was isolated from the liver tissue of a 44-year-old white male with small cell lung cancer by O.S.Pettengill and G.D. Schorenson and was established in 1976. DMS153 can secrete calcitonin, human calcitonin gene related peptide, and adrenocorticotropin. The cells formed tumors in nude mice and mice without thymus.

Morphology: Round, adherent growth.
