DMS153 Human Small Cell Lung Cancer Cells

DMS153 cell line was isolated from the liver tissue of a 44-year-old white man with small cell lung cancer by O.S. Pettengill and G.D. Sorenson, and was established in 1976. DMS153 can secrete calcitonin, human calcitonin gene-related peptide, and adrenocorticotropic hormone. The cells were tumorigenic in nude mice and thymus-free mice.

Morphology: round, adherent growth.

Culture media and additives/Complete Growth Medium and Culture Conditions:

90% Waymouth MB 752/1 base+10% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+G/A (SD0038)

Complete medium: Waymouth MB 752/1 complete medium

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
