BHT-101 Human Thyroid Cancer Cells

To establish a 63 year old woman with anaplastic papillary thyroid adenocarcinoma with lymph node metastasis; The cells described in the literature do not produce hormones, but some of thyroglobulin and thyroxine are positive (T4).

Morphology: epithelial-like, adherent growth

Culture media and additives/Complete Growth Medium and Culture Conditions:

80% MEM (MD0300)+20% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+0.5% human serum +0.005 IU/ml TSH+5 µ g/ml human insulin+G/A (SD0038)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
