COS-1 Transformed Renal Cells Of African Green Monkey SV40

       The cell was derived from a CV-1 cell line and obtained by transfection with SV40 encoding wild-type T antigen and starting point defect mutations; A single copy of the complete early segment of the SV40 genome is integrated into the cell. The cells express T antigen and are suitable for transfection with vectors that require SV40T antigen expression; Preserve the characteristics of SV40 cytolytic growth; Support replication of temperature sensitive A209 virus at 40 ℃; Support the replication of SV40 homozygotes with early segment deletion. Due to the DNA sequence of SV40, the cell needs to be operated in a level 2 biosafety cabinet. After identification without mycoplasma, it was put into storage.
