OrgCult™-Cochlear organoid culture medium

OrgCult ™-Cochlea Cochlear organoid culture medium is a medium used for in vitro cultivation of cochlear organoids. Cochlear organoids can simulate the inner ear environment, study the early development of auditory units, mechanisms of hearing loss, and drug screening. Using this culture medium, researchers can establish cochlear like organs containing hair cells and supporting cell components in the sensory epithelium, and establish synaptic connections with spiral ganglion neurons to simulate the function of the inner ear sensory epithelium. The culture medium does not contain direct animal components, but is controlled by recombinant proteins such as EGF and FGF, WNT signaling pathway activators such as rock inhibitors, etc. The use of vitamin C and N-acetylcysteine antioxidants facilitates long-term culture, and signal molecules such as SHH and RA are added, which play a role in simulating signal molecules in the natural environment.
