KYSE-180 human squamous esophageal carcinoma cells

This is a highly differentiated esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cell line that was resected from a 53 year old male intrathoracic esophagus before treatment (tumor invading adjacent structures), with cyclin D1 amplification and p53 mutation.
