Products Description

EMT6 was established by a transplantable mouse breast cancer, which occurred in BALB/cCRGL mice after implantation of proliferative mammary alveolar nodules. The resulting tumor cell line (named KHJJ) propagated in BALB/cKa mice and adapted to tissue culture after passage of the 25th generation of animals. The cell line was named EMT. EMT6 is an EMT clone isolated at Stanford University in 1971.

The EMT6 cell line can grow as a tumor in animals or in tissue culture. It is reported that the plating efficiency of tumor cells in vitro is 30%. It is reported that cells grown in tissue culture have 70% electroplating efficiency.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
