MM melanocyte medium

Melanocytes only account for about I % of the number of epidermal cells, and their growth is slow and proliferation ability is extremely limited, so how to remove keratinocytes in the culture process is the focus of melanocyte culture. Meanwhile, melanocytes are easy to be polluted by fibroblasts in the culture process, and sometimes even mixed with a very small amount of fibroblasts will lead to the failure of culture. Boosting melanocyte growth and inhibiting keratinocyte TPA(12-o-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate) basically solved the problem. However, TPA has a potential risk of cancer. This component was removed in the preparation of culture medium, and protein growth factors and vitamins were used to replace it, which could meet the requirements of the normal growth of melanocytes and maintain the normal growth of cells. 

Medium formula: Basic medium MM-b(P5000) 485ml, cell growth factor MCG( P5002) 5ml, fetal bovine Serum FBS(SD0200) 10ml, G/A(SD0038) : 5ml 

Remarks: 100ml bottles without kits, prepared in whole bottles.
