Ms751 Human Cervical Epithelial Carcinoma Cell

This is a diploid human cell line. The number of model chromosomes is 39, which occurs in 62% of cells. The percentage of cells with higher ploidy was 16%. In all cells, 16 markers were found in single copy. Among them, there are 11 such as del (2) (q34), del (8) (p21), 14p+, der (X) t (X; 14) (q28; q13), t (3q8q). We found some different tags, which all have the same 11qter-11p13 [der (11)]. These markers seem to be mutually exclusive, and each cell has only one marker at the same time. Normal X, N8, N11, N21 and N22 are not found. N1, N10, N15 and N16 are paired, and other normal chromosomes are single. Epidermal carcinoma cell MS751 of cervix was identified by J Sykes was founded in 1974, from a 47-year-old white woman. The cell contains human papillomavirus 18 (HPV-18) sequence. Recently, it was found that MS751 cells contained HPV-45 gene sequence partially derived from E6/E7 region and expressed poly (A)+RNA. It was identified as free of mycoplasma/STR and put into storage.
