GBC-SD Human Gallbladder Cancer Cells

The GBC-SD cell line was established by Liu Bo, Wang Zhanmin and others in 2000 from a 61-year-old male patient with poorly differentiated gallbladder cancer. The shapes of cells are polygon, spindle and square. Secrets CEA and CA19-9. The doubling time is about 21.4 hours. It can be transplanted to nude mice. The resulting tumor is similar to the primary tumor.

Morphology: epithelial-like, adherent growth
