Products Description

The cells were transformed by NTKmT retrovirus expressing the T antigen of polyoma virus. The expression of von Willebrand factor and the uptake of fluorescent-labeled low density lipoprotein (LDL) were observed to confirm its endothelial cell characteristics. BEnd. 3 cells can induce the expression of Peyer's node endothelial cell receptor, mucosal vascular settlement factor (MAdCAM-1) and endothelial cell selectin in lymphocytes by cytokines and lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The induction of tumor necrosis factor a (TNF alpha), interleukin 1 (IL-1) or LPS is concentration and time dependent. The bEnd. 3 cells with earlier generations expressed MAdCAM-1 on the surface when they were not stimulated, but they did not express it after 30 generations. Cell adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) was continuously expressed and increased after LPS, IL-1 and TNF a treatment. Vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) was continuously expressed before 30 generations, but not after 30 generations. Tumor necrosis factor a (TNF alpha) in bEnd. 3 cells can induce the expression of P-selectin, which is stronger after 30 generations.
