RBL-2H3 Rat Basophilic Leukemia Cells

RBL-2H3 cell is an basophilic leukemia cell line isolated and cloned from the basophil cells of Wistar rats in 1978 by the immunology laboratory of the National Dental Institute of the United States. These cells have high affinity IgE receptors and have become models for studying the structure of FcERI. Although almost all batches of fetal bovine serum support the growth of this cell, in some batches, FcERI is better threshed after aggregation. Each batch passed the detection of mycoplasma in this library, and the result was negative.
