A3 Human T-lymphocyte Leukemia Cells

A3 subclone is from Jurkat cell line. Jurkat cells were treated with Fas antibody, and a cell line was obtained by limited dilution method. The proportion of spontaneous resistance of this cell line to Fas-mediated apoptosis was low. The obtained subclones are very sensitive to Fas-mediated apoptosis. The wild-type A3 cells resistant to neomycin were selected and treated three times with the frameshift mutagen ICR-191 to isolate the recessive mutant with anti-Fas antibody killing. It was identified as free of mycoplasma/STR and put into storage.
