HECV Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells

The cells are from white human umbilical cord, female. This cell was collected by Dr. G. Di Domenico of Italy. HECV cells are reliable models of hepatic steatosis and endothelial dysfunction. In order to maintain the unique characteristics of endothelial cells, it is recommended to use the matching endothelial cell culture medium (product number: P1001) for culture.

Morphology: epithelial-like, adherent growth

Culture media and additives/Complete Growth Medium and Culture Conditions:

ECGM endothelial cell culture medium (product No.: P1001)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
