HCE-8693 Human Cecal Adenocarcinoma Cells (undifferentiated)

Hce-8693 is derived from the pathological section of lymph node metastasis of a male patient with undifferentiated adenocarcinoma of the cecum. Its doubling time is 30.4 hours, and its mitotic index is 28.8%. The electron microscope showed meganucleus, obvious nucleolar boundary, rich microfilaments and secretory granules. The number of chromosome patterns is 48. The rate of cloning on soft agar is 8%. CEA was positive in the supernatant of cell neutralization medium. When the xenograft was transplanted to nude mice, the tumor formed by Hce8693 cells was the same as the original lesion of the patient, and there was Alcian blue positive substance in the cytoplasm.
