NCI-H596 Human Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma

The cell was isolated from the chest wall tumor of a 73-year-old white male patient with lung adenosquamous carcinoma by GazdarAF and OieH in 1983; The acquisition of tumor precedes the treatment. The cell expressed p53 at the same level as normal lung tissue, and there was no large structural DNA abnormality. Keratin and vimentin were positive, neurofilament triple protein was negative; It expresses a variety of squamous cell differentiation markers, such as the activity of glutamine transferase, the production of envelope element and the formation of cross-linked envelope.
