MS1 Mouse Islet Endothelial Cells

MS1 is a islet endothelial cell line established in 1994. Primary cultured islet endothelial cells were transfected with anti G418 temperature sensitive SV40 large T antigen (tsA-58-3). The resistant clones were isolated using a clone ring and screened for absorption of dil-Ac-LDL. This cell line retains many characteristics of endothelial cells, such as the absorption of acetylated LDL and the expression of eight factor related antigens and BEGF receptors.

Culture media and additives/Complete Growth Medium and Culture Conditions:

90% DMEM (MD0100)+10% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+G/A (SD0038)

DMEM complete medium (article number: MD0101)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
