HuCC-T1 [HuCCT1] Human bile duct cancer cells

Human cholangiocarcinoma cells HuCC-T1 [HuCCT1], also known as HUCCT-1, were taken from differentiated adenocarcinoma tissue from the bile ducts of a 56-year-old male patient inside the liver, specifically isolated from malignant cells in ascitic metastatic lesions. HuCC-T1 [HuCCT1] expresses Syndecan-1 in the cytoplasm and is associated with EMT (epithelial-mesenchymal transition). This cell contains the p.Lys1358fs*2(c.4071_4072insGATT) heterozygous mutation, which may be related to tumor characteristics and is commonly used for studies on the invasion and metastasis mechanisms of cholangiocarcinoma, EMT, tumor microenvironment, and drug sensitivity; Suitable for gene transfection experiments; It also has the ability to form tumor balls, making it suitable for 3D model research. HUCCT1 is an important human cell line for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and serves as a core in vitro tool for studying the biological characteristics, molecular mechanisms, drug responses, and development of new therapies for cholangiocarcinoma.
