Human scar dermal stem cells

The skin is the largest organ in the human body, covering the body's surface and comprising the epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous tissue, and appendages. It plays a vital role in defending against microbial invasion and ultraviolet radiation, preventing water loss, regulating body temperature, and maintaining human appearance. Dermal stem cells within the human body can also assist in hair follicle regeneration and skin injury repair. Scar dermal stem cells (MSCs) have demonstrated favourable outcomes in treating lower limb ischaemic diseases, diabetic foot, and leprosy. Recent years have even seen research into combining MSCs with various tissue engineering materials and biomaterials for treating trauma or ulcers. Our dermal scar-derived MSCs are sourced from surgically repaired scar tissue. Using our mesenchymal stem cell culture medium, the cells can be maintained for over 15 passages.
