MB-49 mouse bladder cancer cells originate from primary bladder epithelial cells of C57BL/Icrf-a (t) mice. These cells were transformed and cultured for 24 hours after being treated with the chemical carcinogen 7,12-dimethylbenzoanthracene (DMBA).
