NP69 human nasopharyngeal epithelial cell line

This is an immortalized cell line transfected with PX8 plasmid containing monkey virus 40 large T antigen (1). NP69 immortalized human nasopharyngeal epithelial cell line retains many characteristics of normal nasopharyngeal cells, including keratin profile and TGF- β And has many genetic characteristics observed in NPC (2). NP69 cells are non-tumorigenic and show anchoring dependent growth (2). NP69 cell line is suitable for studying the mechanism of virus-related tumorigenesis.
