PT-67 retrovirus packaging cells

PT67 is a retroviral packaging cell line derived from TK-NIH/3T3 cells.

These cells produce replication-deficient retroviral vector particles, which can bind to gibbon leukaemia virus receptor Glvr-1 (Pit-1) or amphiphilic retrovirus receptor Ram-1 (Pit-2) on target cells. It can be used to generate retroviral vectors with a wide host range, including human cells.

Morphology: epithelial cell like, adherent growth

Culture media and additives/Complete Growth Medium and Culture Conditions:

90% DMEM (MD0100)+10% fetal bovine serum(SD0200)+G/A (SD0038)

Complete medium: DMEM complete medium (article number: MD0101)

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
