C166 mouse endothelial cells

The C166 cell line was established from F1 embryonic cells obtained by mating female NMRI/GSF mice with male CD-1 mice, which were transduced with the human fes (fps/fes) proto-oncogene. This cell line can be used to study endothelial cell differentiation and determine the mechanism for establishing organ specific endothelial cell heterogeneity, and can support the stable proliferation of pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells, thereby generating a sufficient number of cells for studying their subsequent development and differentiation mechanisms.
