RSC96 Rat Schwann Cells

RSC96 cell line is spontaneously transformed from primary cultured rat Schwann cells after long-term culture [PuMed: 9766530]. The culture submitted to ATCC in December 2002 contaminated mycoplasma. The offspring were treated with BM cyclin for 21 days to eliminate mycoplasma. Six weeks after treatment, mycoplasma was detected by Hoechst staining, PCR and standard culture test. The results were negative. Through mycoplasma detection in this library.
