HT-1080 [HT1080] Human Fibrosarcoma Cell

HT-1080 (human fibrosarcoma cells) is an epithelial cell derived from the connective tissue of a 35 year old male patient with fibrosarcoma. The cells contain activated N-ras oncogene and are sensitive to human poliovirus 1, cat RD-114 virus, cat leukemia virus, and vesicular stomatitis virus. The chromosome pattern number of HT-1080 cells is 46, with a range of 44 to 48. HT-1080 cells can be used for 3D cell culture, biological product production, and scientific research, and are also a suitable transfection host. Identified as Mycoplasma free/STR and stored in the warehouse.
