ATDC5 Mouse Chondroblasts

Cartilage-derived cell line ATDC5 is derived from teratocarcinoma AT805. The phenotypes of cells showed sequential changes in vitro. They include various stages from mesenchymal coagulation to calcification. Bone morphogenetic protein-2 (BMP-2) stimulates the sequential progression of early and late differentiation. The activation of parathyroid hormone (PTH)/PTHrP-related peptide (PTHrP) receptor leads to the inhibition of this differentiation ability. It was put into storage after identification without mycoplasma.

Culture media and additives/Complete Growth Medium and Culture Conditions:

90% DMEM/F12 (MD0600)+10% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+2mM Glutamine+G/A (SD0038)

DMEM/F12 complete medium (article number: MD0603)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
