SW 13 Human Adrenocortical Small Cell Carcinoma Cells

The cell was isolated and established in August 1971 from a 55-year-old white female patient with adrenal cortical carcinoma. The pathological diagnosis of this patient was grade IV primary small cell carcinoma of adrenal cortex. The electron microscope showed that the cell had many spherical gap junctions (BGJ). It was identified as free of mycoplasma/STR and put into storage.
