OP9 Mouse Bone Marrow Stromal Cells/Mouse Skull Cap Fibroblasts

The OP9 cell line is derived from the newly born op/op mouse skull cap. Due to a mutation in the gene encoding M-CSF, it cannot generate a functional macrophage clone stimulating factor (M-CSF). The presence of M-CSF can inhibit the differentiation of embryonic stem cells (ES) into blood cells rather than other macrophages. OP9 cells can be used to co-culture with mouse embryonic stem cells to induce embryonic stem cells to differentiate into erythrocyte-derived, bone marrow-derived and B-cell lineage blood cells. Co-culture with OP9 does not require exogenous growth factors or complex embryonic structure. This system is useful for studying the molecular mechanism of the development and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. Through mycoplasma detection in this library.
