NCI-N87 [N87] Human Gastric Cancer Cell

NCI-N87 Cells Express Surface Glycoprotein Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) And TAG72, And Have No Activity Of Levodopa Decarboxylase (DDC). Their Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide (VIP) Receptor Activity Is Extremely Low And Lacks Gastrin Receptor. They Express Muscarinic Choline Receptors. There Is No Evidence Of Recombination Of N-myc, L-myc, Myb And EGF Receptor Genes. The Expression Levels Of C-myc And C-erb-B2 RNA In This Cell Line Were Comparable To Those In Other Cell Lines. The Following Genes Are Not Expressed: N-myc, L-myc, C-cis, IGF-2, Or Gastrin Releasing Peptide. It Was Reported That The Rate Of NCI-N87 Cells Was 4.3%
