SiHa Human Cervical Squamous Cell Carcinoma

This cell was sampled from a 55-year-old Japanese female patient. The electron microscope observation showed that the cell junction of SiHa had typical desmosomes, and there were abundant tension filaments in the cytoplasm. It is reported that the cell line integrates a segment of human papillomavirus type 16 genome (HPV-16, 1 to 2 copies per cell). The expression of oncogene pRB and p53 was positive.
