HC11 Mouse Mammary Epithelial Cells

HC11 cell line is a prolactin-responsive clone of COMMA-1D cells. It can differentiate in culture without adding complex extra extracellular matrix or co-culture with other cell types. HC11 cells produce their own extracellular matrix proteins, such as laminin, which respond to prolactin (prolactin, insulin and dexamethasone) and produce bovine milk proteins, such as β- Casein. It was put into storage after identification without mycoplasma.

Formula of HC11 complete culture medium of mouse mammary epithelial cells (100 ml):

RPMI Medium 1640 (Gibco, 11875093) 88 ml

Glutamax（Gibco, 35050061） 1 ml

Sodium Pyruvate （Gibco, 11360070） 1 ml

FBS (Gibco) 10 ml

Gas phase: 95% air, 5% carbon dioxide; Incubate at 37 ℃.

Reference generation cycle: 3-4 days

Reference generation ratio: 1:4-1:6

Reference fluid change frequency: 2-3 days

Freezing solution formula: 95% complete culture solution, DMSO 5%

Biosafety level: BSL-1

2. Precautions:

(1) The inoculation density of cells during passage should be controlled at 10000-40000 cells/cm2.

(2) Select high-quality fetal bovine serum to prepare the culture medium.

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃.

Freezing conditions: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS (SD0200)

Complete cryopreservation solution: serum-free cell cryopreservation solution (SD0002)
