U-2OS [U2OS] Human Osteosarcoma Cell

The cell line (formerly 2T) was isolated and established by PontenJ and SakselaE in 1964 from a moderately differentiated sarcoma of the tibia of a 15-year-old girl. No virus was detected by co-culture with WI-38 or complement binding test (CF method) against simian vacuolar virus SV40, respiratory syncytial virus RSV or adenovirus. The cells expressed insulin-like growth factor Ⅰ, Ⅱ (IGF - Ⅰ, IGF - Ⅱ) receptors and osteosarcoma derived growth factor (ODGF).

Training Methods:

90% McCoy's 5A (MD0900)+10% fetal bovine serum (SD0200)+G/A (SD0038)

Complete medium: McCOY's 5A complete medium (article No.: MD0901)

Gas phase: air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37 ℃

Cryopreservation: basic medium+5% DMSO+20% FBS

Complete cryopreservation solution: non-programmed cooling cell cryopreservation solution (low serum) (SD0001)
