CHO/dhFr- Chinese hamster ovary cells (dihydrofolate reductase deficiency)

These cells are defective cells of dihydrofolate reductase. Cells die without HT (hypoxanthine-thymine). Adding methotrexate to the cell culture medium can prevent the growth of regressive cells with low drug resistance.

Culture Medium Formula: MEM- α Complete Medium（MD0801）+0.1 mM hypoxanthine + 0.016 mM thymine

Gas phase: Air, 95%; Carbon dioxide, 5%. Temperature: 37℃. 

Freezing conditions:  90% FBS (SD0200) + 10% DMSO

Complete cryopreservation solution: No Programmed Cryopreservation Cells Solution (low Serum)(SD0001)
