Renca [RenCa] Mouse renal cancer cells

Renca [RenCa] cell alias: [Renca; RENCA; Renal Carcinoma]。 The Renca cell line was initially isolated from spontaneous renal cortical adenocarcinoma in BALB/cCr mice and does not express transforming growth factor-β type II receptor (TβRII). This cell line is highly tumorigenic and metastatic, and in mice, it can spontaneously metastasize to the lungs and liver. Its growth pattern is similar to that of human renal cell carcinoma, making it an ideal animal model for kidney cancer research.

Freezing conditions:  90% FBS (SD0200) + 10% DMSO
