Products Description
EOMA is a mouse hemangioendothelioma cell line, isolated in 1980 from adult mice with angioendothelioma, and can be used for cardiovascular disease research. EOMA cells exhibit typical endothelial features, such as rearranging on a matrigel to form tubular structures, and maintaining a pebble-like shape during cell convergence. Its in vitro behavior is highly similar to that of microvascular endothelial cells. It is a commonly used in vitro model in vascular biology and tumor angiogenesis research, combining endothelial cell characteristics with tumor cell characteristics. In homogeneous mice, 100% are tumorigenic, forming vascularly rich tumor tissue. With their stable endothelial phenotype and tumorigenesis capabilities, EOMA cells have become important tools connecting basic vascular biology with tumor angiogenesis research, providing a reliable in vitro platform for mechanistic analysis and treatment strategy development of vascular-related diseases.
