alpha TC1 clone 6 Alpha cells of the mouse pancreas
No.:CD0858
Price: ¥1800.00
Products Description
alpha TC1 clone 6 is a α cell line isolated in 1988 from the pancreas of mice with adenomas. It was cloned from transgenic mice expressing the SV40 large T antigen oncogene in adenomas produced under the control of the rat glucagon protopromoter. alpha TC1 clone 6 is a pancreatic alpha cell line. It is cloned from the alpha TC1 cell line, which was obtained from adenocarcinoma produced in transgenic mice transfected with the SV40 macro T antigen anti-cancer gene controlled by the rat pre-hypercacagin promoter. Its parent cell line is poorly differentiated and produces both hyperglycin and insulin. The two clonal cell lines, alpha TC1 clone 6 and alpha TC1 clone 9, are highly differentiated and produce only hypercagon. Alpha TC1 clone 6 exhibits the highest degree of differentiation and expresses the highest levels of hypercagon. The alpha TC1 clone 6 is useful for studying many biological characteristics of the islet, including hyperglycin biosynthesis and cytokinin sensitivity.
