P3/NSI/1-Ag4-1 [NS-1] Mouse myeloma cells

This is a non-secretive clone of P3X63Ag8. Kappa chains are synthesized but not secreted. It can resist 0.1 mM 8-nitrogen guanine but cannot grow in HAT medium. It has been reported to be a cholesterol-deficient type due to the absence of 3-ketosteroid reductase activity. The test showed a negative result for limb and bone development malformation virus (mouse pox).
