Products Description
The DC2.4 cell line is an immortalized dendritic cell line derived from mouse bone marrow. It is derived from bone marrow isolates from C57BL/6 mice transducted through retroviral vectors to express mouse granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and myc and RAF oncogenes. DC2.4 exhibits dendritic cell characteristics, including cell morphology and expression of dendritic cell-specific markers, as well as the ability to phagocytosis and present exogenous antigens on MHC Class I and II molecules. Under normal cell culture conditions, they exhibit immature phenotypes, with low expression of MHC class II and co-stimulatory molecules such as CD40 and CD80. It can be used to study the mechanisms and stimuli required for DC maturation and subsequent immune function. The DC2.4 cell line is widely used in immunological research, especially in the study of dendritic cell (DC) biology, immune responses, and T cell activation directions.
