NCI-H1373 [H1373] Human lung adenocarcinoma cells

NCI-H1373 [H1373] is a cell line exhibiting epithelioid morphology, established in March 1986 and isolated from a 56-year-old Black male with lung adenocarcinoma. The cell has a chromosome number of 60, with a number between 52 and 118, and chromosomal fragments are missing (p14). The patient had a history of smoking, 30 packs per year, and had undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy. These cells are commonly used in 3D culture and cancer research.
