HS-27A is a fibroblast line isolated from the bone marrow matrix of a 30-year-old white male donor. It can be used for immunological research. In the presence of polyagglutinamine, long-term bone marrow cells were transfected LXSN16E6E7 a facultative retroviral vector, yielding 27 immortalized clones. HS-27A is a subclone of the HS-27. HS-27A expresses a higher level of vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1).
