MP41 Human uveal melanoma cells
No.:CD0768
Price: ¥2000
Products Description
Human uveal melanoma cells MP41 is an epithelioid cell line isolated in 2006 from the primary uveal tumor of a 49-year-old woman diagnosed with melanoma. The cell replication time is about 41 hours, with a mutation occurring at base 626 of the oncogene GNA11 c.626a A>T. Uveal melanoma is the most common primary malignant eye tumor in adults. Currently, there is no standard adjuvant therapy to prevent metastasis, and there are no effective treatments after metastasis. The primary tumor formed by this cell may partially reflect the molecular mechanisms of uveal melanoma in terms of genetic variation and mutation. It has been reported that the mTOR pathway is activated in most uveal melanoma cell lines and is independent of AKT signaling. The mTOR inhibitor Everolimus can reduce the survival rate of uveal melanoma cell lines and significantly delay tumor growth in four types of uveal melanoma PDX mice.
