Human embryonic stem cells H1-BKO-33, also known as H1-B33.
Human embryonic stem cells H1 were established in 1998 by Professor James Thomson's team at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Thomson's team was the first to successfully isolate and establish a human embryonic stem cell line, with H1 being one of the core cell lines established. Other well-known human embryonic stem cell lines include H7and H9 . This cell line is a CTNNB1 (β-catenin) gene knockout cell line constructed from the human embryonic stem cell line H1.
